Sid Sriram (born as Siddharth Sriram on May 19, 1990 [1]) is an Indian-American music producer, play singer and songwriter. He is a composer, singer and performer of R&B, [2] [3] and works in the Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam film industries. [4] He collaborates regularly with the Bharata Natyam dancers, his sister Pallavi Sriram and the musical director A. R. Rahman. [5]
Sriram was born in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. He moved with his parents to California when he was one year old and grew up in Fremont. Her musical skills were cultivated by her mother, Latha Sriram, a teacher of carnatic music in the San Francisco Bay area. [6] Simultaneously he began to choose R&B. After graduating from Mission San Jose High School in 2008, he joined the Berklee College of Music and graduated in Music Production and Engineering.
